About Snow Hopes

Snow Hopes Limited (“Snow Hopes”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales.

Snow Hopes is a social ski and snowboard community that brings people together through group experiences, events and trip coordination.

Our community is aimed at adults who enjoy social ski and snowboard experiences. We welcome adults of all ages and do not discriminate based on age.

Our Role

Snow Hopes provides community and facilitation services. Our role may include:

Creating and managing ski and snowboard communities
Introducing members who wish to travel together
Coordinating group communications
Providing WhatsApp and Facebook communities for relevant trips
Organising social events
Hosting community activities
Providing information and support before and during group experiences

Snow Hopes does not:

Sell holidays
Operate ski or snowboard trips
Provide accommodation
Provide flights or transport
Arrange travel packages
Act as a tour operator or travel organiser

Any holiday, travel or accommodation arrangements are made separately by you with the relevant travel provider.

Your Holiday Arrangements

Any ski or snowboard holiday booked by you is a separate arrangement between you and the relevant travel provider. The travel provider is responsible for:

The holiday itself
Accommodation
Transport
Flights
Transfers
Travel documents
Payments
Cancellation policies
Refunds
Financial protection arrangements

Snow Hopes may help create a community around a trip, but we are not responsible for the performance of third-party travel providers.

You should review the travel provider’s terms and conditions before making any booking.

Snow Hopes Facilitation Service

Where applicable, Snow Hopes charges a facilitation fee. The facilitation fee covers Snow Hopes services including:

Access to relevant trip communities
WhatsApp group access
Group communications
Coordination support
Community organisation
Social introductions

The facilitation fee is separate from:

The cost of your holiday
Travel payments
Accommodation payments
Insurance
Optional activities

Payment Terms

Snow Hopes facilitation fees are invoiced directly by Snow Hopes.

Payment is due by the date shown on your invoice.

If payment is not received, Snow Hopes may:

Suspend access to relevant communities
Remove access to trip-related groups
Refuse participation in Snow Hopes services

Snow Hopes does not hold or process payments made to third-party travel providers.

Cancellation and Refunds – Snow Hopes Services

When you pay a Snow Hopes facilitation fee, you are paying for community and coordination services provided by Snow Hopes.

If you cancel, refund requests will be considered based on:

Whether services have started
Work already completed
Costs incurred
The timing of your cancellation

Where services have already been provided or significant preparation work has taken place, the facilitation fee may not be refundable.

Cancellation and Refunds – Holiday Cancellations

Any cancellation, amendment or refund relating to your holiday is governed by the travel provider’s terms.

Snow Hopes is not responsible for refunds relating to travel arrangements made separately with third parties.

Events

Snow Hopes may organise community events, including social gatherings and ski-related activities. Where events require payment:

Event-specific terms may apply
Cancellation and refund information will be provided before purchase

Where activities are provided by third parties, their own terms apply.

Community Standards

Snow Hopes aims to create a welcoming and respectful community. Members agree to:

Treat others respectfully
Follow reasonable instructions from Snow Hopes hosts
Respect other members, suppliers and venues
Behave responsibly

Snow Hopes may remove members from communities or events where behaviour is:

Abusive
Threatening
Unsafe
Disruptive
Damaging to the reputation of Snow Hopes

Removal does not create an entitlement to a refund unless required by law.

Health, Safety and Insurance

Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks. You are responsible for:

Ensuring you are fit to participate
Obtaining suitable travel insurance
Ensuring your insurance covers winter sports activities

Snow Hopes does not provide travel insurance.

You remain responsible for your own safety and decisions during activities.

Photography and Marketing

Photography and video may take place at Snow Hopes events and community activities. Images may be used for:

Website content
Social media
Marketing materials

Data Protection

Snow Hopes processes personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Liability

Snow Hopes is responsible for providing its own services with reasonable care and skill. Snow Hopes is not responsible for:

Holidays booked separately with travel providers
Acts or omissions of travel providers
Accommodation providers
Transport providers
Skiing or snowboarding activities not directly organised by Snow Hopes
Losses caused by your failure to obtain appropriate insurance

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
